My story
Myself as a child
From an early age creating art has been a wonderful outlet, a way of escaping reality and getting lost in time.
Along my journey I’ve had fantastic teachers who given me profound insights; they have taught me to look at life from a different perspective, and to see how everything is connected.
I have been very fortunate to be able to have a varied career doing what I love, including;
- Graphic artist in advertising agencies and newspapers
- Dabbled in screen printing, sign writing and ticket writing
- Owned and designed “Up the Garden Path Café and Gallery” in Motueka
- Studio in Nelson – Sold commissioned artwork both nationally and internationally, had exhibitions and tutored students
Up the Garden Path Café / Studio
Over the last four years I have been a full time tutor working with youth and in the communities of Christchurch, teaching students how to plan and create artworks including murals, paintings and drawings.
I now have the exciting opportunity to open my own Studio in Christchurch, providing Art classes and Soul workshops while pursuing my own creative outlet.
